Design, location, value, garden, staff etc. Located in Sydney, 2. Lovely period home, very comfortable, quiet and private. The room was very small but it was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Nestled within Taronga Zoo and overlooking Sydney Harbor, Wildlife Retreat at Taronga is an eco-retreat offering stylish accommodations in a relaxed bush setting. The architects and interior designers have done an amazing job! It features a day spa, a tennis court and a hot tub. The concierge was very helpful in getting us a hire car and helping us with other things.
We loved every minute of our stay there! Featuring a rooftop heated outdoor pool, hour fitness center, restaurant, bar, cafe and unlimited free WiFi, Crowne Plaza Sydney Darling Harbor is just a 3-minute walk from Town Hall and I love the little details like included minibar, sweets corner and snack pack. Looking for something even fancier? From the glitz and glamour of the Star City Casino and trendy King Street Wharf in Darling Harbor to the waves of the Northern beaches, Sydney is full of great restaurants, bars and shopping. Sail under the iconic Harbor Bridge on a ferry and take in a world class performance at the Sydney Opera House.
The Sydney Tower is the highest point on the skyline and offers a restaurant with panoramic views.

Whether it's the quirky King Street in Newtown or the elegance of the Woollahra, travelling outside of the center uncovers each suburb's distinct flavor. The famous Bondi Beach is the starting point of a walk along the cliffs to the equally photogenic beaches of Bronte and Coogee. Error: Please enter a valid email address. Error: Oops! We've sent you an email so you can confirm your subscription. Rooms were clean, however, i didnt expect that the room is smaller than i thought. The 3 of us fits ourselves in anyway. Bedsheets are neat and comfy, location is great it's just in the heart if the city. Very convenient to walk around. It's a good choice..
Thumbs up Sydney hotel CBD. What a great place to stay. We had dinner in china town which was wonderful. We caught the train to Circula Quay and walked around enjoying the entertainment and Street foods. Just wonderful. The views from our room at the North Sydney Harbourview hotel was spectacular. Phenomenal city, friendly, helpful, nice people, beautiful harbor, amazing public transportation, limitless things to do and see. We walked for miles each day, rode the ferries to Manly and Bondi Beach, did the Coogie to Bondi coastal walk, went to museums and historical sites, sailed on a tall ship, took the opera house tour.

The Opera House itself is stunning and the story behind it is amazing. The Rusell Hotel opened in the late s and has so much charm and character, including an expansive reading room with balcony and a rooftop garden and sitting area that is perfect for relaxing at the end of a long day of exploring. Phenomenal coffee shops and bakeries everywhere. We did hotel hopping so started at the InterContinental Hotel in Double Bay which was outstanding - so new and classy!
A great location to unwind - would recommend not being there on a weekend though as was crowded on Valentines Day but great on the Monday as everyone back at work! The lunchtime buffet at the degrees Restaurant at Sydney Tower was fantastic - both the food and the view! Shopping is always fun - especially at the Queen Victoria Building stores and also at Paddy's Market! The Opal card is a great service - just have to remember to tap on and tap off to make it work! Would avoid travelling into and out of the Sydney CBD during peak traffic.
Taking the Manly Ferry is a great way to combine a harbour cruise with a visit to beautiful Manly Beach and to have a seaside lunch. Great views can be found by climbing the pylon of Harbour bridge and by having an expensive but delicious dinner at Altitude, the restaurant in the Sang-ri-la Hotel. The restaurant is higher than the bridge so the views of the bridge and the Opera House and the outlying green areas around Sydney are stellar.
A wonderful walk from the opera house to the historical center city can be taken through the botanic gardens. Another great view is at the Harbourview Hotel's restaurant. The food is delicious, too. The hotel concierge can sell HOHO tickets to seniors at a discount, but the bus driver will have to charge full price--unless you have an Australian ID.
We were in Sydney for Australia Day so it was very crowded but extremely fun! There were boat races, decorated boats, and decorated people. It was away from the main hustle and bustle of the CBD and Darling Harbour in a very peaceful and relaxing setting although we may have visited during University holiday period. Was perfect for our short stay.
We arrived outside of the office hours but a phone call courtesy of our taxi driver enabled us to use the after hours number and we were greeted and shown to our rooms. Position , cleanliness , comfortable and staff are amazing. Outstanding place to stay , central to everything in the city wether it be to shop in the cbd, To go to Darling harbour , Circular Key to catch a Ferry for the day.
I would highly recommend this hotel. From first point of contact there was nothing to complain about. Staff amazing and there to assist with any query. Rooms perfect, clean, comfortable. Renovations taking place and the only visual of this was tbe lift. We were there for a candle conference in Darling Harbour 5 minute walk from the hotel.
Even being right in the centre of cbd with buses right outside the building you could not hear them in your room. The location, comfort, staff, and atmosphere were one of the best I have experienced! The bed was very comfortable, and we could hear very little noise from the outside our room overlooked Sussex St. Midday checkout was definitely a huge positive! I will definitely be staying here again! Co-located and sharing services with the Novotel and Pullman Hotels at Sydney Olympic Park, this Ibis Hotel is directly across the road from the stadiums.
Parking is expensive but comparable with other sites in Sydney. The parking guys did an amazing job fitting in so many cars the night we were there for a Pink concert.

Kingsford, New South Wales
Easy walk even with luggage to trains to airport as well as easy walk to Harbour docks and Big Bus, Circular Quay and great views of Opera House and Bridge. The hotel was charming in a s building. The complimentary breakfast provided in the bar was well presented. The convenient location. We had to stay a night in Sydney, and the hotel was well located.
The location is good. However beware, much of the CBD area is affected by light-railway work for the foreseeable future.
