Plenty of picnic areas. Free weekend parking in the city! Great for New Years Eve too. Easy access to Grand Pacific Drive and neighbouring towns. My husband's mum lived in Wollongong, so we made many trips there.
On a clear day the view from Mt Ozley is so picturesque. Ships on the horizon look like they're floating in the sky. Access around Wollongong with the great roads is good and shopping centres are a must to visit.

We enjoyed our early morning walks to the beach, we went to the steelers club for a great steak burger for the price we paid it wa excellent value for money. Not far to the shopping centre which is one of the best I've been too, but noticed you do need a car to get around. Staying in North Wollongong was fantastic. Free local bus made it easy to get around. I loved walking along the beachfront in the cool evening after a hot day, learning about the history of the area from the visitor information boards and having a healthy breakfast at a cafe watching the waves However the motel is not well signed so hard to find- I drove past it twice before finding it.
This meant not having to pay for shopping centre parking or find a park. However, other hotels have stayed at in the area do provide a free parking ticket so it's not an issue elsewhere. We stayed in this tourist park 3 times 1 time was in the studio and 2 times was in the 1 bedroom in the last 20 months. We like it there. The location is great. Their cabins are reasonable new and clean.
The beach just right behind the park with a private pathway 2 mins walk. There is also a playground for the kids. We have booked to go again in February Friendly and welcoming staff. Centrally located close to numerous food outlets and a short walk to a hotel. Highway location midway between two suburbs with a large shopping centre a few minutes away and only a short drive to Central Wollongong.
Rooms were compact but suitable for a couple. An older motel but well maintained and very clean. Plenty of parking space. The breakfast was delicious and great value for money. Rooms were clean and had everything we needed for an overnight stay.

Budget friendly. Nice little balcony for fresh air and glimpses of harbour views. Location was good for us, quiet, close to wedding venue Wollongong Golf Club. Pool, spa and gym were all really nice. Great location. A good base to explore the Wollongong and Thirroul areas. Perfect for gigs at Waves Towradgi Beach Hotel. Huge room with two big beds. Will definitely stay here again.

Very large apartments with secure parking underneath. The fact that the hotel is close to our family, which is why always try to book with you if we have to come up to Wollogong. Plenty of parking space attached to the hotel and decent food. As a quick stopover it served it's purpose.
Where else could you find this rate near the beach of Wollongong. Very central. Massive apartments with everything you need at a reasonable price. A good hotel for a single nights stay as a stop over place. The room was just fantastic with all the required amenities. The staff is friendly and they have upgraded my room for the same price. It is situated at a convenient place with the beautiful beach and the buss stop just located near by.
Highly recommended. Everything was amazing definitely enjoyed our stay and will be back again for sure. We stay here when we go to Anita's Theatre and always enjoy it. It's clean, roomy and very well presented.
