The launch marks a major expansion of Facebook's dating service, initially rolled out in Colombia, Thailand, Canada, Argentina and Mexico last year. It also opens the company to further scrutiny of its privacy and safety record, which has caught the attention of regulators around the world. Facebook notes in the liability section of its terms of service that it does not conduct background checks or sex offender register searches. Skip to navigation Skip to content Skip to footer.

If two friends each tag the other as a crush, Facebook Dating alerts both of the interest. The groups of refugees that we will be involved with are those who have been waiting to come to Australia for up to seven years. I also hope that for our team it will plant a seed of enthusiasm and drive to make a difference in people's lives.

Thanks Breelin. Kyle Morrison, Artistic Director from Yirra Yaakin Theatre Company, introduces us to Honey Spot — a production that highlights the issues of friendship, tolerance and respect for different cultures. Honey Spot is a heart-warming play suitable for students in Years 4 — 8, and will be presented as a part the Glasshouse's education program on November A cousin of mine was doing a remount-based production of Bran Nue Dae …during that time I was rehearsing for Godot, and on my days off, I got to go and watch some of the rehearsals for Bran Nue Dae.
I was quite lucky — I got to work on one of the most important scripts of the 20th century, and then see rehearsal productions of one of the most important theatre productions in original theatre. In terms of my introduction to theatre, I was doubly blessed! After that, I got into television and did some commercials. When I was in Year 7, our school actually did a production of Honey Spot.

I remember when we were doing the production, how it made everyone feel … everybody would walk out of the performance, young and old, black and white, and absolutely everyone enjoyed it! Basically, Honey Spot is about a young boy [Tim] and a young girl [Peggy] who meet in the bush from two different sides of the Australian social spectrum; the young lady is doing ballet as an extracurricular activity and meets this young fellow who tells her a little about Aboriginal culture — Noongar culture, specifically through the collection of honey … we get an idea of what Noongar culture and Noongar theology is all about.
The two kids come together through the love of arts, dance and culture, and their families are a little bit hesitant about this. Through the power of these young people exploring creativity and wanting to work together and be friends, cultural, racial and socio-economic divides become insignificant compared to what they want to achieve.
The cello and didgeridoo combination used as the music for the production is so interesting as well, as it really reflects. Working with the cast … The cast have a real joy in telling the story. The story is full of joy, optimism and life anyway, but the cast separately have their own joy, optimism and life as well. This is the kind of story that needs to be told, and hearing the strength of the feedback is also such an enriching thing. Thanks Kyle. This show has sold out in West End, then at three consecutive Edinburgh Festivals, and continues to enjoy enormous success worldwide.

A morning of joy and Christmas cheer. Two shows: November 14 at 9am and Most of us got together at uni, and the singer, Matt, he went to school with our drummer. So we came from a few different places, but once we got together and started fleshing it, out it kinda worked out well.
