Ordered the thalidomide consisting of butter chicken, dhal and lamb vindaloo. Vindaloo is supposed to be chillie hot but it was tasteless. Butter chicken was very sweet and dhal was like eating water with lumps in it. The food was lukewarm. I won't be going back there again. The hunt for a decent authentic curry is back on! Searched the Internet for a local Indian restaurant and found Miss India.
Unfortunately the quality was not very good as the take away dishes had a watery sauce and not much flavour. The Naan bread was good though. The staff were friendly but very rushed and also seemed to brush of my queries. Overall not a great experience, so we will be looking elsewhere next time. Last night I had the second and last last bad experience at Miss India Ashgrove. It went like this.. The order as you would suspect was wrong and the staff were more intent on gossiping to each other than listening.
I wont give them another chance. Bloody awefull , rude staff. I have only visited this place once because a friend had recommanded it. The service and environment was good. Nowadays i have found a few other Indian takeaway shops around which are little far away from me but the food is awesome. But this place is still a great restaurant to visit if you live close.
