The park is exceptional, my son had a blast and I felt safe with him riding his scooter around the roadways. The park is right next to the beach and within walking distance to a local cafe. Great accommodation! Everything was very clean and tidy and had all necessities provided. Complimentary food items also provided which was a bonus. Total luxury and amazing location at a great price. So much love, care and thoughtfulness has gone into these apartments, they are just a joy to stay in. We loved the homely furniture, including some amazingly crafted one-off pieces; the quirky decorations are just awesome as well!
The decor is a combination of Indonesian artifacts and pure old-school surfie style, along with some beautiful pictures on the walls. There are tealights in a jar on the deck for a quiet evening in, games and books… we were particularly impressed with the Welcome book, with heartfelt good wishes for guests and personal recommendations that only the locals know about. Extra points for the epic TV, the fact the apartments are pet-friendly including cats! Kokomo gets my highest recommendation! Situated just 5 minutes' walk from Umina Beach, this 3 bedroom cottage offers a patio perfect for entertaining, a secure, dog-friendly backyard and free onsite parking.
The house had heaps of room, was clean and comfortable.. The air-conditioned accommodation is 17 km from Gosford. Free private parking is available on site. After a day at the beach guests can enjoy a drink and meal in the outdoor beer garden. It was a little overpriced for the amenities offered. No elevator, no breakfast offer. A front desk only manned upon request. But the room was comfortable, and not noisy despite being above a bar which was quite noisy.
Located in a quiet rear position, this fully renovated villa is just metres from Ocean Beach Umina, and metres from Ettalong Beach and a shopping centre. Lovely, clean villa. I spent New Years Eve in Margarita Daze, a beachside bar and restaurant second time in a row and it was as good as last year. I like Ocean Beach Hotel beer garden and bistro. Good food, good beer, reasonable prices. Umina has just right assortment of shops and is a good starting point for one day trips along the coast or other beaches around.
I didn't have time to check several recommended fishing spots in the area but I'll be definitely back.

I liked the resort where we stayed, and it fulfilled our needs perfectly. However, the area itself it pretty but there is not a lot to do in Umina itself. Although there was a great park with climbing facilities right next to the resort which the kids loved. Ocean beach is great for families with young children. The are life guards in the patrolled area near the Surf Club. The beach is safe for kids because the sand gently slopes to the water.
Playgrounds are in the area behind the beach are especially good for young children. Places to sit and enjoy a coffee from the Cafe while you watch your children play.

Umina beach is laid back, relaxing. Wonderful down to earth people. Stunning beaches and bush walks. As a mum with 2 young kids sometimes our dog comes on holidays too , this is our favourite place to holiday. Everything was walking distance to the beach and shops from our accommodation.
Great part of the Central Coast, away from the hustle and bustle of everything else nearby. My kids had the best time, it was great that they could swim in the middle of winter.

The park, beach and cafes are fantastic and close by with shopping centres only a short drive. Will definitely go back again. The place we stayed is comfortable, meet our expectations. The location is so closed to Umina beach, the one of the best pets friendly beach in the Central Coast.

Good surf towards the surf club and north side of the beach.
